About Yukon Moto Gear & Apparel
Yukon Moto Gear & Apparel was born out of a simple but important realization: Yukon riders needed better access to quality motorcycle gear.
A few years ago, while teaching the Gearing Up – Motorcycle Training Course through the Canada Safety Council, we saw firsthand how excited new riders were to get on the road—and how difficult it was for them to find brand-name street motorcycle gear locally. Too often, students were forced to order gear sight-unseen or settle for limited options, delaying their training and compromising fit and confidence.
So, we started small—very small—in the back room of our sister company, Yukon Driving Academy. What began as a way to support our motorcycle students quickly grew into something much bigger.
From that first small space, Yukon Moto Gear & Apparel expanded into an online store, and eventually into our brick-and-mortar storefront, giving riders across the Yukon access to the gear they need—when they need it.
Over the years, we’ve continued to grow the number of brands we carry, always focusing on quality, protection, and real-world performance. We’re also always open to brand suggestions from riders, and several of the brands we now carry were discovered because riders told us what they wanted to see on our shelves.
Our store may be small in size, but we’re mighty with enthusiasm. We’re deeply committed to providing amazing customer service and offering some of the most competitive pricing available on the brands we carry—because riders shouldn’t have to choose between affordability and proper protection.
We make a strong effort to keep a generous amount of inventory in stock, so riders can try gear on, get the right fit, and ride without delay. If we’re ever sold out of a size, we’re happy to special order whenever possible, as long as the item is available through our distributors.
