Available options may include:
- Clear visors
- Light-smoke visors
- Dark-smoke visors
- Iridium and mirrored visors
- Model-specific replacement shields
KYT visors are helmet-specific. An R2R visor may not fit a TT-Revo or another KYT model, so always confirm the exact helmet model before ordering.
Tinted, dark-smoke and mirrored visors may not be appropriate or permitted for nighttime or low-light riding. Riders are responsible for maintaining clear visibility and following the laws that apply where they ride.
Finding the Right KYT Helmet Size
A motorcycle helmet should feel evenly snug around the head without creating painful pressure points. It should remain stable when you move your head and should not shift excessively while riding.
Before choosing your KYT helmet:
- Measure the widest part of your head
- Review the size chart for the specific helmet model
- Consider your head shape as well as circumference
- Check for even pressure around the crown
- Confirm that the cheek pads hold the helmet securely
- Make sure the helmet does not move independently when gently rotated
- Contact YMGA if you need help comparing sizes
Helmet fit can vary between models, even when the labelled size is the same.
Because proper fit and known history are essential, motorcycle helmets are final sale at YMGA. Please review the product information and size chart carefully or contact us for assistance before ordering.
KYT Helmet Certifications
Safety certifications may vary by helmet model, production version and market. Always review the individual product description and confirm the certification shown on the helmet label.
Choose a helmet that meets the legal requirements for the province, territory, state or country where you will be riding.
