Unlike a conventional youth chest protector, the Fusion Vest incorporates LEATT neck-brace technology directly into the protection system.

The neck-brace structure is constructed from fiberglass-reinforced polyamide resin and is designed to help transfer forces away from vulnerable areas of the neck during certain accident scenarios.
